Test Engineer - Platform

Job Description
We’re looking for an intermediate level Test Engineer to join our Platform Team, with a key focus working on our Cloud Initiative.
You’ll predominantly be involved in technical, backend testing with a 65-70% Manual / 35-30% Automation split, so very little database, and no front-end testing involved.
It’s an ideal role for someone with an interest in cloud platform infrastructure, who would like the opportunity to extend their Automation Testing experience.

Requirements
We’re looking for:
- A variety of backend testing with a focus on containers, deployments, APIs, authentication, access tokens etc...
- We need experience in functional, non-functional, regression and security
- Familiar with modern coding standards/practices and DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with testing tools such as JMeter, Postman or other relevant tools will be needed
- Exposure to C# / .Net would be beneficial
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
