Using your accounts payable skills and experience, you will support the Group Finance Manager to run the transactional accounting team for Vista Group, with a focus on the following areas:
- Treasury processes and use of online banking platforms
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounts payable processes including intercompany transactions
- All creditor payments and subledger maintenance
- Process improvements
** Fixed Term Contract: 15 months duration **
About the role
- Drive the accounts payable monthly cycle to ensure timely completion per the financial calendar
- Post invoices with minimal errors and ensure all payments are made correctly to all creditors in a timely manner
- Ensure bank journals are posted and closed daily across all bank accounts/companies and currencies
- Ensure appropriate approvals have been gained for all invoicing payable per the DFA
- Maintain the Aged Accounts Payable register ensuring all payments are correctly applied on a monthly basis
- Support the completion of the Group audit via timely and accurate completion of audit requests and schedules with robust supporting documentation
- Assist in the implementation of payment file uploads across banking platforms
- Ensure data is captured accurately for creditors and entered within Business Central
- Assist with any ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external communications

Requirements
You’ll need:
- Strong post qualification Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a multi-country, company group.
- Basic accounting expertise
- Strong planning amp; organisation skills, able to accomplish goals, manage time effectively and meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to clearly convey information and ideas
- Good knowledge of banking processes in multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance related area
