The Role | Te mahi

We are seeking a talented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our food and beverage team at Sudima Christchurch Airport. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing great service to their customers. Whether you are a seasoned professional in the foody scene, or a newcomer to hospitality, we are keen to talk with you - Full training will be provided. Weekend availability is required.

This is a permanent part-time role based at Sudima Christchurch Airport. It is a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours paid at $25 per hour.

Responsibilities | Nga haepapa

  • Provide a warm engaging welcome to all guests
  • Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
  • Preparation of the restaurant for service
  • Seating guests, taking orders and delivering exceptional service at all times
  • Taking external and internal phone inquiries and delivery of room service
  • Settling guest accounts
  • Ensuring a positive resolution and follow up with any guest complaints

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work varied hours across week days, weekends and public holidays
  • Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
  • Have a desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
  • Experience in restaurant amp; bar service or customer facing role would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Valid Right to Work in NZ
