Jasmax is an established multi-disciplinary architecture and design practice with a rich heritage spanning more than 60 years. With three studios in New Zealand, and one in Australia, we pride ourselves on developing our people to deliver world class projects. We value biculturalism, sustainability, meaningful design and mana whenua engagement.
Our portfolio of projects includes the New Zealand Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020, City Rail Link station designs, new AUT buildings, modern schools, mixed-use and multi-unit residential projects, and others still under wraps.
At Jasmax, we see it as our purpose to maximise the human experience and enhance the world around us. Our values are at the heart of what we do and shape our projects.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join the finance team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will see you drive project profitability by reviewing project performance, liaising with project teams, and providing sound commercial advice to improve profitability.
Having relevant previous experience, along with strong commercial acumen, you’ll quickly become a trusted advisor in relation to the portfolios you’ll support. The Project Architects will be looking to you to provide guidance on project profitability, identifying potential concern and ways to implement solutions.
Regular weekly and monthly financial management of projects through the project lifecycle will be yours to own. This will include billing, forecasting, variance investigating and payment claims.
Weaving continual improvement into your day-to-day will see you bring fresh and innovative ways of managing your portfolio, and to the wider finance project team.
