At Entain Australia amp; New Zealand, the customer is at the centre of what we do. Our New Zealand Content team is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a talented Content Specialist to join the team. This role will play a huge part in enhancing our brand presence and a crucial role within the business as we bring the content function back in-house.
You will be responsible for planning and producing high-quality content for a range of social media platforms as well as our content hub, The Punters Lounge and working to ensure as many people see it as possible. The content specialist will work closely with and provide guidance to the content coordinators to ensure the execution and delivery of content to different platforms and channels is done with the highest standards. The content created will align with our content strategy, which this role feeds into, and the overall strategic business goals while providing an engaging experience for our customers.
Where and how you can work:
This role is ideally based in Wellington, but we will consider Auckland for the right candidate. We have offices in Auckland, Wellington, Darwin, Sydney, and Melbourne. Your day-to-day:
- Leading the creative process, production and delivery of content assets, including video, static images, copy and audio for distribution across a variety of social media channels.
- Working closely with the Content Coordinators to produce and maintain a weekly content calendar, ensuring that all content created is delivered timely and successfully on the right platform and in the right specs.
- Contributing to the content and social strategy for Entain NZ, providing feedback along the way.
- Keep up to date with different trends, identifying emerging tools, applications, channels, design amp; strategy.
- Reporting on insights and meaningful metrics to evaluate progress and identify key success and areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with social and content partners to create meaningful content for our digital channels that align with the Content Team and business goals.
You may be an ideal candidate if you have:
- Previous experience in a related role, preferably with relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience having sole responsibility for social media channels in an organisation.
- Have an excellent understanding of how to use digital channels to drive customer engagement and brand advocacy.
- Previous experience with social media management tools, Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Are passionate and share an interest in the sports and racing industry in NZ and overseas (desirable).
