About the Role
The Associate Director Product serves as the chief product officer of Datapay, Datacom’s SaaS payroll service for New Zealand and Australian enterprises, leading a product team of 25 to manage the core business as well as transformational product development investments which are currently underway to fuel growth. This role leads the team to set the strategy across the SaaS business.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading the product management function in a B2B SaaS scale-up. FinTech experience is a plus.
- Ability to develop and deliver best-practice, data-driven product management methodologies and mindsets.
- Demonstrated ability to implement long-term, customer-centred strategies alongside the methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
- Experience managing complex multi-million-dollar budgets to meet schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Broad and deep understanding of technical infrastructure projects, operations and governance and related technology dependencies.
- Knowledge of SaaS unit economics and performance metrics, with a mastery of the drivers of profitable growth.
What you’ll do
- Provide leadership and guidance to support a high performing Product Team of 25 people
- Provide leadership on new product and business opportunities ensuring that there is demonstrated value and translation of benefits and business outcomes
- Managing the day-to-day functions relating to operations and governance, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that availability, deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered.
