What you’ll be doing - TewhakamahereThe purpose of the Property Manager position is to manage NZTE’s property portfolio to ensure our operational and strategic property needs are met and managed in a cost effective and efficient way that maximizes productivity for our people and accessibility for our customers. You’ll be responsible for NZTE’s New Zealand and International property portfolio and will manage key stakeholder relationships and be the primary point of contact for our international offices in regard to property and vehicles. NZTE has a global footprint of 50 offices across the world so you will be adept at managing international relationships across time zones, regions, and cultures. Your days will be varied working with senior leadership on strategic planning, with our on-site Office Managers to support operational goals, across NZ Inc on shared tenancies and initiatives; as well as ensuring compliance and timely resolutions with external stakeholders like landlord and building managers. You will also manage a part time employee, growing and developing their skillsets while achieving operational goals.Possessing a commercial mindset, you will actively analyse our property portfolio to identify better ways of managing our physical footprint, cost reduction or streamlining opportunities, and capitalise on ways to continuously improve our employee’s office experience. You’ll collaborate across NZTE and with external parties to ensure that domestic and international office branding, fit out, and maintenance are effectively project managed and completed on time and in budget.What you’ll need to be successful OPukengaYou’ll be an experienced property management professional with proven skills in project management, including delivering programmes.
