As an Intermediate level Quality Assurance Engineer you will help drive quality practice, set culture of accountability across Futureverse and will influence testing practices to improve quality.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Engineering team on building testable products from the initial stages.
- Work with Engineers on implementing e2e tests.
- Work with Product teams to identify risks early in the lifecycle and implement safeguards.
- Identify external/internal security risks in traditional and web3 applications to take preventive action.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
- Experience writing rigorous test cases that identify high-value and high-risk areas of the product.
- Experience testing in highly demanding environments.
- Experience working individually on an Agile project.
Nice to have:
- Automation experience with any of the open source frameworks.
- Web3 / Ethereum and Solidity knowledge.
- Understanding about AWS Serverless infrastructure and CloudWatch monitoring.
- Experience in DeFi trading and staking platforms.
- Proficient with Jira and Confluence.
- Blockchain, Crypto and Metaverse fundamental knowledge.
