Rentokil Initial is a global company currently in growth mode in New Zealand. We are in the market for an exceptional sales leader to take over the reins of this highly successful sales team based in Wellington.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• The delivery of the regional sales and customer retention targets
• Development and performance of all sales and account management activities in the region
• Managing and motivating the sales team
• Developing a strategic sales plan critical to the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in the region
• Providing strong leadership and coaching

Success will be measured through management of daily sales activities, ensuring proactive planned customer call cycles are executed, strategic new business development plans are in place and ongoing SWOT analysis of the region.

In order to be successful you will have the skills, experience and ability to:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that will enable delivery of the regional Netgain budget
• Work in conjunction with the Regional Manager and the wider regional leadership team
• Target and monitor market trends and competitor activities
• Ensure we are competitive in the marketplace
• Exceed our clients' expectations on quality and service versus cost.

To be considered for this position you will have:

• Experience leading, managing and developing a sales team, and business development skills
• A proven commercial acumen delivering sales results is a requirement
• Creating a culture of mutual trust

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and background checks.
