Job Description

Contract Role

We are on a mission to transform how tradespeople run their businesses and have a positive impact on their life. As our software has become more feature-rich, our customer knowledge base has grown. We want to take a fresh look at how we are enabling our customers to self-help, with the help of someone who can restructure and rewrite our help centre. The right person will also need to put in place standards and process guides for our Support Team to keep the help centre up to date going forward.

Working closely with our Support Team, we are looking for someone who can:

  • Review the current structure and layout of the help centre and suggest improvements
  • Review and write the help centre content to enable our customers to learn about our software’s key features and how to use them;
  • Work with the Support Team to write help centre articles to provide a base of FAQ for customers;
  • Optimise our help centre content to appear in Zendesk Answer bot searches, increasing our bot resolution rates
  • Provide a structure and process documentation for future article creation

Requirements

Skills amp; Expertise

  • Have excellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate both technically and conversationally in a modern, formal, and professional manner
  • Have previous experience working with help centre hosted on zendesk
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
  • Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
  • Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
