Our Support Centre is 1,000 people strong, who all play a vital role in supporting our network of 330+ stores across the North Island.About the roleOur Financial Shared Services Group is growing here at Foodies and we are seeking an Accounts Receivable amp; Collections Specialist to join us, working as part of a team managing the receivables across Foodstuffs North Island (think PAK’nSAVE, New World and Four Square) and its group of companies.You’ll work across all business units to:- Receive, record and resolve queries in relation to financial transactions including sundry invoicing - Weekly Direct Debits Statements for stores- Daily Banking Reconciliation, payment allocations- Administer busy inbox(s)- Collection processes, including credit checks
About youThis is a busy role in a small team, with a mix of accounts, admin and customer service and you will have had previous experience in Collections amp; Accounts Receivables, understand financial workflows and be comfortable working at pace we need you to hit the ground running!- A customer-centric approach with high level of relationship management focus to deliver excellence- Provide a customer-focused solutions approach to credit control- Be comfortable leading the facilitation and collection of outstanding debts and monthly payment arrears when required- You will have excellent planning and communication skills both written and verbal, with a great ability to collaborate with others, clearly articulate ideas/concepts and present to others- Have a good understanding of SAP and the flow of financial -documents- You will have an eye for detail and accuracy- Be able to process large volumes of work daily, you’ll have a passion for process improvement with intermediate levels of Excel- Experience from a FMCG environment will be highly advantageousOur BenefitsWe offer a wide range of benefits with the opportunity to learn from some world class grocers, building your career in one of NZ’s leading retailers.
