We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our friendly,dynamic, and busy team based in Wanaka. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for processing invoices in our system, ensuring they are reconciled and paid in a timely manner, following up on discrepancies, and working collaboratively with our Sales team to ensure all payments are made efficiently and correctly. This is a fixed-term contract for the summer months.
You will be helping us with
- Assisting with accounts payable.
- Reconciling supplier accounts.
- Dealing with customer and team members queries and ensuring they are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Providing general support to the accounts team.
Requirements
You will need:
- 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Accounts payable experience preferred.
- Experience in the travel industry is advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong excel skills.
- To be a strong team player with a ‘can do attitude’.
