As the National Lease Manager at Entain Australia amp; New Zealand, prepare to embark on your next journey! We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Lease Manager to join our Property and Workspace Solutions team and contribute to the success of our business by delivering property solutions across Entain NZ’s property portfolio within New Zealand.
In this role, you will provide end-to-end management of our property portfolio, which includes retail sites and 6 regional offices, ensuring all leases are proactively managed, from negotiating lease renewals to applying good practice lease administration. As your property portfolio is nationwide, you will need to have the ability to travel and must hold a current, clean, full driver’s licence.

This position is open to candidates based in Auckland or Wellington; we are also open to considering other New Zealand locations for the right candidate.
Your day-to-day.
- Operate as the key point of contact for landlord and sub-lease tenant liaison of all lease-related matters across 6 regional offices (Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Dunedin).
- Act as the first point of escalation for the Facilities Management team in relation to any lease-related queries that require clarification with the landlord or tenant.
- Prepare documentation for delegated approval on Rights of Renewal, Deed of Lease variations, lease exits and other associated commercial lease activities, providing clarity on Entain and TAB New Zealand lease liabilities and responsibilities.
- Manage routine inspections and provide regular reports on building issues within the leased portfolio with recommendations for resolution.
- Manage all lease renewals, including application of any indexation, ensuring all lease-related details are accurate and up to date within Entain’s operational and financial systems.
- Assist with financial and budget related tasks, including the checking and loading of invoices, confirming accruals, and tracking contractual commitments versus actual and forecast.
- Establish and maintain an effective annual operational plan for all lease management functions, ensuring this provides clarity around aspects such as forecast lease renewals and leasing activities for the coming year.
- Foster and maintain effective relationships with landlords and working relationships with key individuals and groups from the wider business.
You're a match if you have.
- Proven experience in corporate property, lease management lifecycle, evaluation and renewals, plus managing property databases and systems.
- Proficient in financial (planning and management), operating expenditure and lifecycle costing.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation relating to property leasing and coordinating multiple tasks to strict deadlines.
- Ability to competently produce informative reports, business cases for financial approvals and presentations to a high standard.
- Confidence in working in a high-paced and complex environment where you are required to influence and respond to changing needs and priorities.
- Ability to build and maintain various effective business relationships within the organisation and a wide network of professional relationships across the industry.
