ArchiPro is an online platform for design and architecture, connecting homeowners, products and professionals for all things design and build, and we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Head Office Technology team.

About the Role

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our engineering teams, driving project execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or solutions, and actively contributing to feature development through coding. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our technical and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to engineering teams, set clear objectives, and empower team members to excel. Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Implement agile methodologies to optimise project efficiency.
  • Feature Development and Coding: Actively participate in feature development and coding, setting an example for the team and contributing to the technical excellence of our products or solutions.
  • Technical Strategy: Develop and execute a technical roadmap aligned with the company's goals and industry trends. Make informed decisions about technology stacks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities. Ensure effective communication and alignment between engineering and other departments.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality and best practices in software development or engineering processes. Implement testing and validation processes to ensure product reliability.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent. Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Budget Management: Manage department budgets, allocate resources effectively, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
