Job Description

New Zealand Fine Touring Group (NZFT) is a technology enabled travel business experiencing rapid growth. NZFT operates a multichannel strategy selling travel to international visitors who wish to travel across New Zealand and Australia. Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking an experienced and high performing Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading, driving and growing two of our established sales teams to deliver sales targets and meet our overall growth goals.

The Role

  • Develop, motivate and support two of our sales team to achieve their sales targets and overall career goals.
  • Identify opportunities within the sales team to grow efficiency, increase conversion and continually improve customer experience.
  • Identify individuals’ key strengths and use this to maximise conversion and sales
  • Manage rostering, leave requests and enquiry allocation in conjunction with the other Sales Manager.
  • Identify training gaps and liaise with People and Performance Manager and Product Managers to coordinate relevant and appropriate trainings
  • Regularly collaborate with other leaders to ensure the company can reach its collective goals.
  • Liaise with B2B Manager to drive growth and diversification of sales through these channels

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience in a sales environment.
  • Proven ability to analyse and understand data, achieve sales targets and lead others to achieve theirs.
  • Ability to develop highly effective working relationships and have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate diverse group of individuals
  • A proven ability to identify areas of opportunity or improvement and drive changes forward.
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask
