About the Role
This role is a key role for Datacom Cloud to drive value and revenue growth across Australia and New Zealand. The Product Portfolio Manager will lead the creation and management of the end-to-end experience leading our Data Protection portfolio. If you’re an experienced Product Manager, Product Owner or Cloud enthusiast who is looking for the next step in their career this is a great opportunity to join some of the best. What you’ll bring
- A love for customers and solving customer problems
- The ability to use data and insights to test hypothesis and scenarios
- Combine customer insights, data metrics and product vision and deliver a simplified solution to solve customer problems
- Understanding of Product Management and Product Go-to-Market with the energy to learn
- Developing understanding of financial management practices and demonstrated commercial acumen
- Knowledge of cloud products will be beneficial to applicants
- Is passionate about data and understands the importance of protecting one of an organisation's most valuable assets
- Understands Cloud, IT and trends driving how businesses develop, maintain and deliver services and applications to their employees and customers
- Is an experienced product professional, well versed in Product Development and Management techniques with a track record of delivering products that customers love
- Can demonstrate their willingness to get their hands dirty - comfortable getting down into the details to create understanding that let's them provide strategic leadership
- An accomplished facilitator who can unlock insights through highly effective questioning techniques and workshop facilitation
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined set of products through the full lifecycle from Innovation/Ideation to retirement
- Develop your products in line with your customers need paramount with focus on user experience and value
- Create and maintain Product Roadmaps for your set of products with clear priorities linked to customer needs, wants and value
- Understand the key performance indicators for your products (financial, customer, sales and user) and use these insights to support roadmap prioritisation
- Support creation of product vision and roadmaps alongside the Portfolio Manager
- Play the role of Product Owner within squads to drive delivery of the backlog with the squad
- Work tightly and collaboratively with your peers to ensure the core Cloud business pillars are completely aligned and connected
- Identify and develop key business and stakeholder relationships
- Work in line with Datacom’s Product Lifecycle Framework across Cloud Products and beyond.
- Provide direction and motivation to the teams/squads working on your assigned portfolios
- Lead the creation of collateral, marketing briefs, tender responses, operation briefs, and technology requirements with the wider agile squad.
