NZFT operates a multichannel strategy selling travel to international visitors who wish to travel across New Zealand and Australia. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our team based in the Wanaka office. You will develop and execute marketing initiatives across all of our channels. You will drive website traffic, customer engagement and lead generation to ensure we meet our overall business objectives. You will thrive on developing and executing on our marketing strategy and be excited about the mix of ‘hands on’ work and longer term thinking. You will report to our General Manager, Customer Experience and lead a team of 5.

The role:
- Lead key strategies as applicable to the marketing function of the business. Ensure they are aligned to the direction of the business.
- Have a proven experience in ‘generating leads’ by using existing digital channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, edm and social and by the development of new channels/innovations to increase our channels reach and relevance
- Lead the marketing team to achieve their personal and career goals.
- Set marketing budgets and team KPIs to ensure we meet our business objectives.
- Have oversight and overall management for all social media accounts, ensuring alignment to our messaging and appropriate content.
Requirements
- 2+ years minimum of leadership experience in a marketing role.
- A deep marketing knowledge, with strong skills in the digital media area (Google AdWords, paid social media, digital activities and other digital platforms).
- You will be analytical and strategic, with the ability to see the trends in data to drive decision making.
- The ability to physically complete these tasks in-house where appropriate.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced sales environment and adapt to ever-changing conditions.
- To be a high energy, goal oriented and driven individual who is great at getting things done!
- Prior experience in a start up or scale up environment is advantageous.
- Prior tourism experience advantageous but not essential
