NZTE exists for one purpose - to grow our customers (NZ businesses) internationally, bigger, better, faster.What you’ll be doing - Te whakamahereWe are looking for a motivated and passionate team player to join our Investment team in this 3-month full time internship opportunity. This varied role will support the Investment Solutions and the wider Investment team. A critical thinker, you’ll provide thorough research and analysis on a range of internal and external initiatives, assisting in the optimisation of solutions.Key to success in this role is the ability to produce thorough and well organised reports, presentations, and graphics to summarise and explain research findings and their implications. Hopefully, numbers excite you, and you enjoy looking for the trends and stories they tell. This role provides an opportunity to gain significant exposure to the Investment life cycle and support complex initiatives in an exciting environment where your contributions will be valued. Working with the wider team you will support the development of improvements, change and innovation contributing to the Investment team’s overarching strategy. You will analyse collected data, manipulate, interpret and provide insights, building a sound commercial understanding and generating thought-provoking deliverables for project and day-to-day work. What you’ll need to be successful OPukengaThis role would suit someone who is part way through their studies and possesses the following skills:· Strong communication / technical report writing skills and an ability to present findings in a clear manner· An innate curiosity and ability to challenge the commonly believed· High-level attention to detail, presentation layout and accuracy· Knowledge of in the field of data science, finance, mathematics or statistics is an advantage however isn’t required.
