Jasmax is an established multi-disciplinary architecture and design practice with a rich heritage spanning more than 60 years. About the role

This role will suit someone who is looking for remaining experience stages to go for registration or want to join a career progressing project. The Wellington studio has a variety of typologies and scale of projects to suit.

You will be supporting architectural projects as directed by the Project Architect including design, documentation and some site observation duties to achieve successful completion. The work is interesting, diverse and career enhancing. You will work on projects across a range of sectors such as residential, education, civic and community, health and commercial.

Requirements

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Advanced level in a range of software, ideally Revit, BIM, Microsoft, Adobe and SketchUp.
  • Graphic presentation skills and communicating design ideas effectively.
  • High level attention to detail with logical thinking.
  • Design and creative ability.
  • Confident, articulate and well-developed communication.
  • Research and analysis - conceptualise and critically assess issues.
  • Time management and strong organisational skills.
  • Builds rapport and strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Problem resolution logical and practical approach to problem solving.
  • Critical thinking able to think beyond the task at hand.
