• Support the team to identify and communicate sprint deliverables
• Coordinate and facilitate key meetings and events, keeping the team aligned to the product mission and sprint goals. These events include reviews, stand-ups and retrospectives
• Support the team with task management and focus, ensuring value is delivered at the end of each sprint by:
  • Focussing on the right tasks;
  • Remove obstacles that prevent the team from progressing; and
  • Protecting the team from distractions
• Establish an environment where the team can perform at their natural best; focussing on communication, collaboration, culture and learning
• Play a coaching role in the development of the team’s time management, prioritisation and organisation
• Help to remove obstacles blocking the team’s progress
• Keep EP, particularly the project’s stakeholders, up to date on the progress of the development team’s workstreams
• Foster good tooling hygiene (JIRA) with teams to ensure that automated reports can be generated
• Other duties, reasonably associated with the role, as directed by management

Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master
• A coaching mentality with ability to create positive headspace, engagement and enthusiasm across the team
• Inherent objectivity and the ability to cultivate performance and delivery without stifling squad members
• A startup mentality with a passion for new approaches
• Experience in varied technology delivery environments
• Current right to work in New Zealand or Australia
