• Play a key role in managing the backlog of bugs.
• Perform manual testing such as:
  • Testing software during and after development.
  • Testing of improvements and bug fixes.
  • Exploratory testing.
  • Regression testing.
  • User acceptance testing.
• Developing test plans within the context of a cross-functional team.
• Involved in the development and maintenance of automated tests.
• Apply your analytical skills to ensure we are testing the right things, in the right way.
• Collaborate with others to define and resolve issues in advance of frequent releases.
• Involved in the product development life cycle to help achieve the best quality outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to automate manually-tested operations.
• Opportunities for cross-skilling and learning.
• Working with remote teams in Europe and Asia.
• Other duties, reasonably associated with the role, as directed by management

Requirements

• Strong presentation skills and a clear, proactive communication style
• An appetite to learn with the ability to take direction and be coached
• Fluency/familiarity with Test Automation tools such as Cypress, Postman, RestAssured, etc.
• Experience of working with an Agile software development lifecycle (Kanban or Scrum) is preferable
• Willingness to learn working in a CI/CD amp; cloud computing environment
• Experience of working with collaboration tools such as Jira/Confluence or equivalent
