About the role
As a Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will work with some of our key customer to deliver IT projects across product development, cloud, network and infrastructure. You’ll practice both Prince2 and Agile delivery modes to bring your projects to the finish line on time and on budget, working closely with the customer and delivery teams to smooth out any kinks in the plan. The role will have financial management responsibilities, so you’ll be managing large budgets and using your commercial skills to navigate around our commercial agreements.
This role is offered as a 6-month fixed term contract.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Project management accounting project budgets
- Project Delivery (planning, tracking and varying)
- Agile squad delivery
- Ability to work across multiple Infrastructure based and product projects at the same time
- Effectively controlling and managing the issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope
- Reporting to stakeholders on project status
What you’ll bring
You will bring at least 5 years’ experience in a similar customer facing senior project management role, ideally within an IT Professional or Managed Services environment. You will have an in-depth understanding of technical infrastructure projects and related technology dependencies. You will be able to demonstrate successful delivery of projects, coming in on time, to scope, quality and within budget. On top of that, you will bring exceptional negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills, along with sound business acumen.
You will also have experience in an agile delivery environment, and the ability to vary delivery modes depending on the project type.
