Job Description
The Cloudy Bay story is one of adventure. After a single sip in 1983, David Hohnen was captivated by Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. In 1985 David and winemaker Kevin Judd launched Cloudy Bay with a vision for making New Zealand wines of uncompromising quality. It’s been that way ever since.
Due to increase in volumes and ongoing growth this is a newly created role for an Inventory Controller to join our Operations Team, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This role is responsible for purchasing and managing all dry goods required to meet daily production requirements.
- Ensure all dry goods are purchased, delivered, and receipted into the system in a timely manner
- Manage weekly glass deliveries from ordering to receiving on site
- Managing Label compliance for all markets
- Volume forecasting to all suppliers
- Ensure purchase orders and invoices are approved by deadlines
- Working with the logistics team on monthly dry goods stocktakes
- Pallet Management
- QC returns and credits
Requirements
In order to succeed in this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in procurement purchasing preferred
- Ability to analyze data amp; information
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate professionally to both internal amp; external customers
- Good problem-solving skills
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft programs amp; SAP)
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Have an adaptive amp; flexible work approach
